HUMAN NATURE

Updated: Mar 10, 2019

We are all born with our five senses of taste, smell, sight, touch and sound. Additionally, we are born with a hierarchy of needs beginning with our physiological needs of food, water, shelter, clothing, etc.... for basic survival. Once these needs are met, we can satisfy our need for safety, love, belonging, self esteem and self actualization where we desire to be the most that one can be. Many of us are blessed to have many of our most basic needs met and should feel gratitude for those. Appreciation is beautiful, but we were all given a purpose and desires which are unique to us and only we truly know what they are. While being grateful for what we already have, it is important to not suppress your true desires for fear they are too big, you may fail or they seem unattainable. Achieving your goals will make you feel complete and allow you to give back in ways never thought possible. It will ultimately make you a better person who can do more good in the world. There will be road blocks along the way guaranteed, but life may be boring without them. Rewards are so much sweeter when they are earned and not handed to us. Life is a roller coaster, but do not loose site of accomplishing your desires. What you want also wants you. You already have the ability if you have the desire.
